Human Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HBMVEC-GFP-AEQ) were isolated from normal human brain cortex tissue and genetically modified via lentiviral transduction to express GFP-AEQUORIN localized to the mitochondria. Following infection, cells were selected using puromycin to ensure stable expression. These cells are provided at passage 1 and shipped in cryopreserved vials to maintain viability and functionality. For optimal growth and maintenance, Universal Endothelial Growth Medium is recommended.
