Human Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HBMVECs) were isolated from normal human brain cortex tissue and selectively expanded using puromycin following lentiviral transduction with VE-CAD-GFP targeted to the mitochondria. These cells are provided at passage 1 and shipped in cryopreserved vials to ensure optimal viability and consistency. For best results, it is recommended to culture the cells using Universal Endothelial Growth Medium specifically optimized for endothelial cell growth and function.
