Product Description

A fully supplemented, serum-enriched medium designed to support the robust proliferation and maintenance of immortalized human bronchial fibroblasts and related cell types. This formulation ensures high cell viability, sustained growth rates, and stable fibroblast morphology.

Notes

  • For hypoxic culture conditions: Reduce serum concentration to 5% and supplement with 100 µM CoCl₂.

  • Custom formulations available upon request (e.g., serum-free, low-glucose).

Recommended Culture Protocol

Subculturing:

  1. Rinse cells with Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free PBS.

  2. Detach using a cell detachment solution.

  3. Neutralize with Neutralization Solution.

  4. Centrifuge at 200 × g for 5 minutes, discard supernatant.

  5. Resuspend in fresh medium and seed at 5,000–10,000 cells/cm² into T25 or T75 flasks.

Feeding Schedule:

  • Replace medium every 48–72 hours.

  • Passage when cells reach 70–80% confluency (do not allow overgrowth).
