Product Description

A complete, serum-enriched medium specifically optimized for the growth and maintenance of immortalized human colon fibroblasts (e.g., CCD-18Co, CRL-1459). Designed to promote high cell viability while preserving characteristic fibroblast morphology and expression of key biomarkers such as α-SMA and vimentin.

Recommended Culture Protocol

Subculturing Procedure:

1. Rinse cells with Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-free PBS

2. Detach using a cell detachment solution

3. Neutralize with Neutralization Solution

4. Centrifuge at 200 × g for 5 minutes, discard supernatant

5. Resuspend in fresh medium and seed at 5,000–10,000 cells/cm² in T25 or T75 flasks

Feeding Schedule:

• Replace medium every 48–72 hours

• Passage at 70–80% confluency to maintain healthy growth (avoid overgrowth)
